Recent Events

We co-hosted, with the Eldorado Depot Dancers, the March 2012 District Dance and it was a huge success. Several times there were 11 squares on the floor for Mainstream dancing, and 10 squares for Plus. And the Round dancing between square dance Tips also filled the floor. We need to do it again!
A few pictures below.

We continue to make regular visits to the Santa Fe dancers (Eldorado Depot Dancers) and enjoy their visits to us. Several of our dancers are members of both clubs.

April 15, 2011 was our joint graduation dance/party held in Santa Fe with the Eldorado Depot Dancers. The Depot Dancers graduated their Mainstream class, and we graduated both our Mainstream and Plus classes. There were 6 squares on the floor.

Almost done. "A real party!"

Our 2010 Christmas Party was a grand event.
(Who is the cutest one?)

Our Cuer, Bob (Sally) Nolen (center), while in Red River, received the news
of their induction into the New Mexico Dancing Hall of Fame.

On May 7, 2010 our club was the featured entertainment at the RSVP party held at the Betty Eheart Senior Center in Los Alamos to give recognition to their senior RSVP volunteers. For this Western theme dance Mike Holly was the Caller and the audience was invited to join in the dancing. The hall was filled with dancers of all ages, and many had danced with other clubs many years ago.
