Who We Are

I am Julia and I am 13.
I am an "A" student, I love 4-H activites,  and I play viola in the Santa Fe Youth Philharmonia String Orchestra. My horse's name is "Truman" and last year we won High Point at the New Mexico State Fair.

I am Lila and I am 11.
I am an "A" student and I love 4-H activities. I played viola for several years and am now taking cello lessons. I also play piano. My horse's name is "Popcorn" and we have won many ribbons and trophies together.

At the moment we have 35 chickens. We get new baby chicks every year, grow them ourselves (Dad is not a real chicken fan) and then show them at the County Fair. Of course, we sell the eggs and the label on the carton tells the names of the chickens that laid those eggs.

We have rabbits, 2 goats, and 2 sheep which we also raise for showing. Mornings before school, and evenings before bed, we are busy feeding, cleaning and even training the animals (as well as taking care of the family pets -- 3 dogs, 1 cat).
