The threads of her life were family and music. She began teaching music while still in high school and gave her final lesson just 3 weeks before her passing from metastasized breast cancer. She was a graduate of the Eastman School of music.

Her family will remember her as a loving juggler, balancing home and an active life while fighting cancer for 13 years.

Friends will remember her . . .
          as a traveler . . .
          as a square dancer . . .
          as a swimmer . . .
          as an avid reader . . .
          as an aerobics enthusiast . . .
          as a keep-in-touch-person . . .
          as a beach walker . . .
          as a cross-stitcher . . .
          as a school buddy . . .
          and more . . .

but mostly as a lady and their friend.

More than 1,000 students will remember her simply as
                 . . . “my music teacher”
